A lot of Palette owners end up doing these kinds of adjustments with a button or two simply because of the definite click accompanying each step. RE: Dial for blend modes, do you realistically prefer a dial or one/two buttons for this? Here's why I ask: the uncertain of making a "stepped" (ie next blend mode/previous blend mode) adjustment with a smooth dial isn't everyone's favourite.

Have your UX/UI folks ever considered adding "trigger" functionality to a button that activates stacked mutilple settings for wheels and sliders? I'd gladly hassle through some additional tapping. Would I love 4 sliders to mix CMYK with ease? Absolutely? Would it be as awesome function if a button / slider combo could work to cycle through multiple color adjustments for those of us still saving up for a bigger set of controls? Oh yeah. For those of us who are novices or just can't remember all the blending modes easily, having a wheel to adjust layer blending modes in InDesign would be a BIG time saver, no to mention a huge creative experimentation enhancer for blending.ģ. Having Stroke Weight as the only Layer modification possible with a slider is a *real* limitation.Ģ. Is the Adobe coding that much different from AI that an object's opacity can't be adjusted similarly in InDesign? Boy, this would change my life. But I am CONSTANTLY adjusting opacity values in InDesign. Sliders to adjust color values is nice, but only for those who have 3 or 4 sliders. A few of my wish list items (beyond Kim's which I share) are:ġ. I know it's not the leading app your users are supercharging with Palette, but InDesign needs some love! There's so many of us in the PS / AI / InDesign space - and InDesign has the most limited integrations.
